In a statement on Saturday, the movement condemned the Israeli killing of 21-year-old Palestinian man Jamil Abu Ayyash by Israeli occupation forces during protests in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.
At least 68 Palestinians were also injured after being hit with live ammunition by Zionist forces during the protests on Friday.
The Islamic Jihad underlined that such crimes will not make Palestinians stop their resistance against the occupation.
They will only add to the resistance and confrontation with the regime, it said, adding that resistance will continue until the destruction of the Zionist regime and its expulsion from Palestinian land, the statement said.
It also lauded the residents of Nablus and other West Bank cities and towns for holding rallies and standing up to Israeli terrorism.
